This place continues to offer delicious Mexican cuisine. #5 Queso Suiza, #14 Bastik con Enchiladas Suizas, and the Sopa de Tortilla were each delicious along with their complimentary chips and salsas. Wait staff is friendly and helpful and the dining room is spacious and clean. Hopefully we can dine here again on our next visit to Phoenix. If you are expecting the same old Sonoran food as everywhere else, you are barking up the wrong árbol. This is Mexico City style food so a bit different. We moved away 5 years ago, so when we came back for vacation, made a list of places we couldn't miss. The ONLY Mexican food that made the list was La Parilla Suiza! After five years, it was still as good as we remembered.
LaParrillaSuiza has always been one of my favorite places, it was nice to know that they have one up here in Mesa.. I do have to say the atmosphere is a little stale and outdated, I wish they would through a new coat of paint on there and update the decor and make it more updated!! The service was decent, I asked if they could substitute chicken for steak and she said no, which I know they can because at every other location they have done it! But it's ok because I literally think everything I have gotten to eat is good! I ordered the steak and bell peppers with a chicken quesadilla, rice and churro beans! Delicious!! So the food still has all the yummy flavor! I would just like to see a little " new Years lift " done to make it a little more modern and welcoming!! Been coming here for years - just as good as the one in Tucson. Ordered and shared a #15 (pechuga suiza) and a cadillac margarita pitcher. Amazing salsas (big fan of the green avocado sauce), food quality (we never leave here feeling bloated or food coma'd). Daniel, the waiter was great - in fact, service is always excellent. Fun family friendly atmosphere - always nice coming here for dinner. Highly recommended
